auto filling text in word and outlook
My system was working perfectly using Office 2003 SBE.
I opened some old word files, and now my auto text feature is not working. For example, when I type the first part of the date or word in my new document, it used to suggest and complete the date for me, after I hit enter, now it does not. When I type words, it still automatically suggests the words for me but NOW, when I hit enter it just goes to the next line. |

The old word files might be saved by older versions of Word when you last
saved them. Those versions may not support Auto Correct. Thus Word 2003 shuts them dwon as them to avoid capability problems. Try Save As then a newer version of Word file. If this does not work you probably have turned Auto Correct off. Go to Tools AutoCorrect Options ... Auto Correct tab, then make sure that you have checked the check box accompanied with the text 'Replace text as you type'.
