Excel doesn't recognize stock symbol and won't update price
Thanks, Don. I have three NYSE listings that it doesn't recognize as
symbols: MSPD, GLD and SPX. The method I'm using is smart tabs in Excel 2003. Is there anything else I can tell you that would be helpful? "Don Guillett" wrote: You are not telling us very much. Excel doesn't recognize stock symbol and won't update price
Thanks, Don. I know smart tags relies on MSN Money for stock quotes, and the
MSN money knows the three symbols I'm having Excel trouble with so I'm stumped. I didn't know there were other methods to do this! Could you point me in the direction of information that might help me to learn how to make my spreadsheet use something other than MSN?
