Aligning bracketed negative numbers with positive numbers in a table
Need to format the alignment of the last digits of bracketed negative numbers above positive numbers in a table column, so that the right hand bracket for the negative numbers sits outside the aligned numbers.
Thus: 12345 (5) I can custom format an Excel cell to achieve this, but can I do it in a Word table? Thanks |

Aligning bracketed negative numbers with positive numbers ina table
Yes you can. Set table cell alignment to left (not center or right).
Select the table cell(s) and set a decimal tab where you want the right bracket to appear.
