Default why i lost contects when i change form IMAO to POP3

hi .just wanna 2 know why when i change my outlook mail server from IMAP to
POP3 ...why i lost my contects list ..i can't find my contects list ..i was
buck up my outlook mail before i change the server and when i change it ..i
find everythig ..my mails, sent items and my folders ..all but i lost my
contects ..can you tell me how 2 get my contects list back thanks

IMAP accounts have no ability to save contact information (IMAP is a
mail-only protocol), so if you have your normal default delivery PST, then
your contacts are where they always were. How are you trying to locate them
(i.e., where are you looking in Outlook) and which version of Outlook do you
use?
