Default Reinstall Outlook 2007 Folders are there but message aren't.

Hello: Had to reinstall my vista 64 Ultimate system and the Office 2007,
Outlook 2007 and such. Ran it for years no problem using Msn account with
one additional msn email address. Several folders on both accounts.
Now, when I log into windows live or hotmail.com those folders are there and
the emails I put in those folders are there; however, since the new
installation of outlook when I open Outlook 2007 with all of the latest
updates, including the Outlook connecter, there are no emails in the folders.
That is all of the folders I have setup on the previous install of Outlook
2007 appear in the new installation, but they are empty. The inbox and
outbox sending works.
How can I get my newly installed Outlook 2007 to download all of my message
to their respective folders? After all they are still there and can be
viewed when I log into Hotmail, etc.
Would really appreciate learning how to resolve this matter.
Thanks
Clarence

If your old folder structure was still there, then your installation of
Vista was a repair and not a clean installation.
Create a new outlook Profile - dont copy old

DL: Thank you for the guidance. I deleted both accounts and then
re-established them, and the entire downloading of both accounts followed;
however, the downloading was and is (one is still underway) excruciatingly
slow.

Best to you
