Default Minimizing use of mouse in Access ???

Does Access have any facilities for using the keyboard instead of the mouse?

Is there any way to set form/control properties in Design view without using the mouse? Any way to reposition controls without using the mouse? etc. etc.

I have mousekeys turned on but moving the cursor with the scroll keys is laborious.

I am asking for a person whose doctor has advised minimizing use of the mouse.

Dear David:

I have also posted an answer to your similiar question in
microsoft.public.access.forms.
I am not certain if you can do *everything* with the keyboard in Access, but
you can certainly do *almost* everything. Here is a link to a list of
keyboard shortcuts that you might find helpful...

Thanks for the information.
I have never been able to figure out how to post to more than one forum so I will continue to do as I do now whenever I am unsure which forum best suits the topic.

Dear David:

Happy to help..

BTW... To post to more than one forum:

If you are using a web-based newsreader, you can type the names of the
various groups into the Newsgroup box. Separate each newsgroup name with a
semicolon.

If you are using Outlook Express you can click the "Newsgroups:" label to
the left of the box containing the name of the current newsgroup. That will
open a dialog that will let you add additional newsgroups to the post...

The benefit of cross posting is that any message answered in one forum is
immediately reflected in any of the other forums, preventing overlapping
answers and duplication of effort.

Cheers!
Fred

Oh, BTW, I was thinking of another thing on the way home... If your user
wants to manage the location of controls in design view, they could enter
values in the Properties of "Left" "Top" "Height", etc.. So, for example, to
position a control just put 1" in "Top" and 1" in "Left" and your control is
positioned. An advantage here is accurate placement of controls...

Cheers!

I don't know the names of the other forums when I am posting in a
different forum !

Exam the list of available newsgroups before deciding which groups to
subscribe too, and which groups to post to.

After you have posted to a forum, wait two days to see if there is an answer
before posting again.

Please.
