I selected the tiny link, and settled in on Create a Business Card.
2007 vs 2003 wording must be a little different. In fact, the
explanation doesn't make sense. I just noticed to the left a 2003
Help and How-to link. I see Browse Publsiher 2003 Help and How-to,
and under it is listed, 1. automating taska nd programmability, 2.
Colums, demos, and quizzes. ...
That's not going anywhere. Off to Google.

1. Start Publisher
2. In the New Publication task pane, click ...

What New Publication task pane.

I think I need to go to the public library and see what they have in
the way of books.

Ah, I see what they seem to be driving at. I got a 'pane' on the
left, and there's an almost hidden pull-down menu at the top. I now
see business cards. I guess I have to pick once. Nothing for
do-it-yourself, I guess. Off to puzzle this out. I plan to use Avery
8876 sheets.

I also posted an article for the 2003
version of Publisher did you try it?

Here it is again...

Yes. I tried it, but it seemed 2007 oriented. Words and menus didn't seem to
quite match.

Page setup, Business Cards, click Change copies per sheet. Type .75 side, .5
top, zero gaps.
You will be presented with one card on your screen. This setup will print 10
identical cards per sheet.

Thanks. That looks like a good start. I've got 10 cards per sheet. It looks
like use of Insert of text and pictures will pretty well do the rest. Very
good.
