Your first goal might be to rid yourself of distribution lists and use separate Contacts folders or categories. However, one way to accomplish what you want is to save one DL as a text file (open the DL, click FileSave As and specify "Text only" as the "Save as type"), creating a tab-delimited values file, opening that file in, say, Notepad and selecting the members you want to transfer, using right-clickCopy or CTRL-C to put the selection in your clipboard, then open the other DL, click Select Members, place your cursor in the Members field and pressing CTRL-V or right-clickPaste to add the clipboard contents to the members list. Click OK and the members will appear in the DL. Save and close. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

I copied DL's I tried this and it worked. However, I'm a bit surprised there
isn't an easier way to do this. I belive in an earlier version of Windows I was able to copy DL's. Anyway, thanks, Brian, for the tip. --Tracy C. Thanks. I have been trying to do this for some time. Although it appeared a
little complicated, it was actually quite simple. Thanks "Brian Tillman" wrote: Kris wrote: I need to copy members of a distribution list to another distribution list.
