Missing Properties?
I'm creating a network diagram and was entering ip addresses to each pc and
server. However, I've been UNGROUPING each symbol, deleting the drop shadow and RE-GROUPING my symbols. When I alter my symbols, and right-click, PROPERTIES doesn't showup as a option. Why do "edited" symbols loose the PROPERTIES option? |

Missing Properties?
The Ungroup command should be listed under Weapons of Mass Destruction.
When you group a collection of shapes, a new shape is created. This new shape can be, and usually is, modifed to add new features. For example custom properties that are shared with the component shapes. The component shapes can be modified to refer to information in the new shape. When you ungroup, the new shape is deleted along with all the extra information that was stored in that shape. Grouping will not restore the missing information. The better way is to edit the group shape and delete or modify the component from there. To edit a grouped shape, select the last item from the Edit menu. It should be "Open xxxx". (xxxx is the name of the shape) John...
