Default Add favorites to "Save" window

How do I add the favorites folder to a "Save" or "Save As" window, so I can
just open favorites, click on the folder and save an excel file directly to
the correct folder without having to go through drive, directory,
subdirectory, folder, subfolder to save it?

What version of Excel are you running?

2002(XP) and newer should already have "Favorites" on the "My Places" bar in
the filesave as and fileopen dialog.

If not there, see this KB article

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;282087

You can stick any folder you want onto the "My Places" bar.

Also the default folder can be typed into the dialog box at
ToolsOptionsGeneralDefault file location.

"Save" will use that folder.
