Default Access 2007 - Error 2538 - macros cannot be run in 'disabled' mode . .. ???

A program I developed residing on my computer runs fine when a button on my form executes a macro.

However, a copy on my client's machine displays Error - 2538 and only enables the button to "Stop all macros". Says something about macro action cannot be run in "disabled" mode.

I think this might be because Access does not "trust" the directory or drive the program is running from -- we tried several local and network locations, to no avail.

Might there an option/setting that I need to change in his locally-installed Access setup?

Thanks, Bill C.

Bill,

Why not just add it to a Trusted Location, see...
