Outlook 2007: Toolbars and Mail Views.
Hi,
I am moving to a new PC, and ideally wish to copy the layout of Outlook from the old PC. This will include changes to Toolbars (both in Outlook itself and also the opened and composed e-mails), and Views (for the Mail windows). Having to re-create manually is otherwise a most time-consuming job, and something always gets forgotten. Is there a file/s and/or Registry settings that contain this information and can be copied between PCs? Many thanks. |

Outlook 2007: Toolbars and Mail Views.
Move the pst and open it in outlook- do not import. Then you will have all
the views. The toolbars are in outcmd.dat. Ribbon customization is in *.qat in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Office -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Let's Really Fix Outlook 2010 http://forums.slipstick.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34 "Kev" wrote in message ...
