Default Outlook Express not receiving any mail

After being connected with my new Comcast internet services, I connected
it with Outlook Express. But whenever I open the program I get the
error message " ''mail.comcast.net'' is an invalid command." then
"Server Error: 0x800CCC90; Error Number: 0x800CCC18" (OS: Windows XP, Home
Edition)

I checked with Help on both Microsoft & Comcast sites & according to both,
my settings are correct. I even ran a diagnostic & it says all my
connections are correct. I contacted Comcast & they don't understand what
the problem is either, but suggest that maybe Microsoft blocks Comcast.

What is the problems?

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup. This isn't one. Try
microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general
