Default Blank slided after Powerpoint 2003 upgrade

After upgrading my system to office 2003 pro, many slides within a powerpoint are displayed as 'new' slides. meaning all images and text objects are gone, title is also gone .. and displays a sort of new slide but the footer content is visible. However, the logo (an image) in the footer is upside down for all slides? Can someone help me... i
Same slide when I viw in powerpoint 2000 pro on my oher laptop, all slides remain intact. Something is not right in Powerpoint 2003?
Thanks.

You probably haven't installed the critical fix. Go to Help Check for
updates and follow the links labeled "Check For Updates". That should take
care of the problem for you.

Sonia's got the fix for your blank slides. After you download and install
the updates, check out this area of Shyam's site:
www.mvps.org/skp/unflip.htm

It contains a little add-in that will unflip your graphics.
