Default Emails in Outlook Deletes After 5 Days

Normally, emails should stay in the IN BOX until I delete them, but they are
automatically deleting after 5 days. They then appear in my DELETED BOX.
Does anyone have a clue as to how to fix this? Thank you.

You have made a rule to do this?

A rule can't do that. Rules act only when messages arrive.

Check your autoarchive settings. Do you have autoarchive enabled and, if
so, is it configured to delete instead of save?

Oh, thank you for that information. I suppose the OP is clearing it in
the "archive setting" then.
