I'm afraid you're not going to get anywhere with this, although if you post
some information on exactly what you're trying to do (Set Cell? Changing
Cell?) it's barely possible that you'll get something useful.

The problem is that if you're trying to invoke Goal Seek using a pivot
table, there are two possibilities:

- You're trying to change a pivot table cell as some other cell changes its
value: that is, the Set Cell is in the pivot table. But a Set Cell must be a
formula, and a pivot table can't contain formulas (except as a calculated
field or item, but they don't show as formulas in the table itself).

- You're trying to change some cell outside the pivot table as a cell within
the pivot table changes in value. But you can't change a data field value
directly, only by changing the table's source and then refreshing the table.
And while you can change a row or column item manually, Excel won't let Goal
Seek do it.
