% pain
I am being silly but is there a way of setting a workshhet so that when I
type in 4.9 in a percentage formatted cell it does not appear as 490%? I suppose I could set the cell format to general and type in 4.9% but I am worried that the calculations might not work, excel reading the cell as text. Thanks, Danny |

rather than typing 4.9 type 0.049 and leave your % format. -- ehntd ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ehntd's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=15865 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=318700 |
