Printing Banners
Epson will allow 44 inches. (11176 cm.)

A post from Miss Perspicacia Tick !"... Publisher can only print banners 4' long?! According to the settings in my 2003 the largest is 120" - or 10'. You can create a longer banner, but Publisher will attempt to print it as tiles. The limitation is documented in a KB article, which I can't find at the moment You have to use Zoom Smart or some other workaround to print larger. -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher http://www.mvps.org/the_nerd/ Before reading this message, view the disclaimer: http://mvps.org/the_nerd/disclaim.htm |

My old man is okay. His surgery went fine. He has macular degeneration as well as
glaucoma. I am trying to get our 10 year old dog re-trained... No not really. Thanks for asking, David. I really missed you while you were away. -- Mary Sauer MS MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://www.mvps.org/msauer/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "°°°MS°Publisher°°°" wrote in message ... Mary 44 inches is 1117.6 mm (not cm)
it would be 111.76 cm (divide mm by 10) or 1.1176 mtrs (divide cm by 100) As a matter of interest the conversion of 1" = 25.4mm is correct to nine decimal places. -- "If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there!" |

I still use imperial for some things - you ask me how tall I am then it's 5' 6", I couldn't tell you what that was in metres and centimetres (I believe it's about 1m 67) - and I only know my weight in stones and pounds (no, I'm not telling you how much I weigh!). Davey, although it doesn't want to admit it, would have been raised in imperial. |

What does '48", 4', 120" and 10'' mean. Can you please quote those in proper measurements. Oh STFU Davey, you know damned well what they mean! I am *NOT* going to convert just to please the Nazi in you! You are in your mid-60s, you were raised on imperial. You probably still use it yourself, but don't want to admit it because you enjoy being factious and obstreperous! |

Same here although I did have fun with my (very gullible) dad a few years
back. I went to Niagara Fall, Canada with my parents about 10 or 12 years ago. Dad noticed the speed limit signs in metric and commented on how his speedometer had metric measurements. I suggested he switch the clock over to metric mode. He looked back at me and with as much of a poker face as I could muster, I told him that metric time has 10 seconds in a minute, 10 minutes in an hour, etc. It lasted about 10 seconds and then I lost it. He wasn't sure whether I was serious or not. Gosh that was fun!! -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "Mary Sauer" wrote in message ... I was only going by the Epson print dialogue.
