Error 3191 in Access
I'm in design view creating a table. When I tried to save the table, I get
the following error message: Cannot define field more than once. (Error 3191) You tried to create a table in which more than one field was defined with the same name. Each field name in a table must be unique. But all of my field names are different. Any ideas? |

It is pretty straight forward. You are trying to create a table with more
than one field with the same name. -- Dave Hargis, Microsoft Access MVP "Christopher" wrote: I'm in design view creating a table. Yep. However if there isn't two fields named the same, then it's a corruption
issue. Probably needs to run a compact and repair. -- Jerry Whittle, Microsoft Access MVP Light. Strong. Cheap. Pick two. Keith Bontrager - Bicycle Builder. When you live in Illinois, corruption is the first thing that comes to
mind...... -- Jerry Whittle, Microsoft Access MVP Light. Strong. Cheap. Pick two. Keith Bontrager - Bicycle Builder. There aren't two fields with the same name; I will run the compact and
repair. Thank you. "Klatuu" wrote: There's a possiblity I didn't consider. -- Dave Hargis, Microsoft Access MVP "Jerry Whittle" wrote: Yep.
