linking tables
I have a table (tblMembers) with member info and an other table (tblFamily)
to link the member to a family. Each member has a MemberID and a multiple members have the same FamilyID. I've created an additional table (tblRelation) to store the the type of relation for/to each member to the other (ie. a single member can be wife, sister, mother etc.) I'm having trouble finding an easy way to enter that data from a single "new member" form. |

linking tables
Hi,
It seems like you will need a relation sub-form. Probably displayed in datasheet view. It could contain at the least a relation-type combo box and a member combo box. I am not sure you need a family table since the relations are being defined in the relation table. Unless you are really using the Family as a household/address table.
