AutoCad to Visio Dimension issue
I opened an AutoCad file that used metric dimensions. Visio shows inches. How
do I convert and have the picture show up the same? |

AutoCad to Visio Dimension issue
Hi AG,
Instead of opening the .dwg directly in Visio, start a blank drawing, then go to Insert CAD Drawing. This will give you a wizard with some options. Hopefully that will get you a bit closer. -- Hope this helps, Chris Roth Visio MVP Visio Guy: Smart Graphics for Visual People Articles: http://www.visguy.com Shapes: http://www.visguy.com/shapes Dev: http://www.visguy.com/category/development/ Forum: http://www.viguy.com/vgforum Automation Guy wrote: I opened an AutoCad file that used metric dimensions. AutoCad to Visio Dimension issue
It is still not a direct import. I set up the page as millimeters. I answered
the query about the Cad drawing's dimensions as being millimeters. Still no luck.
