Why do some phone numbers delete or change format after syncing?

I have been successfully syncing contacts between my iPhone 3GS and Outlook
2007. Then, a couple of days ago, I found that a frequently dialed cell
number was no longer in the phone's contact list. When I checked Outlook,
the cell number was missing and the home phone was duplicated -one version
was formatted and the other was not. I have found the same issue with several
listings in the phone and Outlook. Before I manually fix the problem, I'm
trying to find out what may have caused it and if there is an easy fix.

There are a lot of sync issues with iphones. Try the apple forum for
answers - they all use iphones and most sync with outlook. We all use
outlook but few sync with iphone.
