Default PowerPoint 2003 viewer won't open in windows 98 SE

I created a nice slide presentation using PP 2003. Sent it along with a
powerpoint viewer so he could watch it. He runs windows 98 SE and the viewer
wouldn't open. He got an error message stating that the viewer would only
open in 98 SE or higher.
Any help would be appreciated!!!

You may want to direct your friend to:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
(Sorry, the link is rather long and ugly. Watch for text wrap.))

Look down the page for where it reads:
To install on a computer running Windows 98 Second Edition (SE):

Hope this helps,

Are you sure that he has 98 Second Edition? Windows 98 and 98 SE are two
distinct versions. If he has Windows 98 SE he wouldn't get that message.
