Thank you for all your help but UNFORTUNATELY the problem still exists.
I take it that the Catalyst 6.6 driver automatically takes over when installed. Did you re-boot?
To find out if the installation was successful, control panel, display folder, settings tab, advanced button, adapter tab, properties button, drivers tab. The version number should be 6.6. What is your motherboard? Have you checked for a BIOS update? Intel has downloads for acceleration on their site. -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "BUGGY" wrote in message ... Buggy,
Does HP offer updates? I can absolutely guarantee this is not an Office problem. Maybe you have a corrupt image. Are all your files running slow? What is the model number of your HP computer? -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "BUGGY" wrote in message news The driver shown as being used by my praphic card is 8.263 My motherboard is a MSI MS - 7184 and my bios revision is 3.41 also im using a AMD Sepron (tm) processor 3000+ I have spoke to Hewlett Packard and they say that my pc and all its functions are running perfectly and the problem is with my copy of Office 2003.
