In PowerPoint 2003, you can use package for CD and choose copy to CD. This
will include a viewer which allows others without PPT to view your
presentation.

In PowerPoint 2000 and 2002, use Pack and Go featu

You can also burn the presentation into CD, such as using third party
software such as Nero, or if you are using Windows XP, you can make use of
its featu

To copy (burn) a PowerPoint Presentation to a CD, you will need the following:
1 blank CD-R
At least a CD-R drive (a.k.a. CD Recorder, CD Burner, or CD Writer)
CD burning software (such as Nero Burning ROM) or Windows XP

I always included a copy of PowerPoint Viewer on the CD. I also made a .doc
file with instructions on how to load the viewer if the user didn't already
have a viewer on his computer. I burned that .doc file to the CD, also.
On the front of the CD itself I wrote instructions to read the .doc file to
insure that person would know it was there.

If the CD was of a type that might be referred to repeatedly I added
instructions on how to make a shortcut to the operating file so ithe
shortcut could be placed on their desktop.
