Massimo,

After you have entered text in the connector's box, click away from the
connector. Then click once on that connector, and notice that there is a
yellow diamond in the center (where the text is). Click the diamond and drag
it away from the connector to move the text.

Hope this helps.

Default change position of text on connectors

Hi Doug,

thanks for your reply. On my connectors there was not such a yellow diamond,
but after a few attempts I managed to move the text using the Text BlockTool.

cheers,

Massimo

I, like Doug, can not locate a yellow diamond and I can't figure out how to
move the text the way Massimo has. Anyone have any other suggestions?
Step-by-step... Thanks.

The yellow diamond feature to move text is only available on certain
connectors, and can be added to ones that you create, but the Text Block
tool is probably easier

David, thank you. Would it possible to ask you to provide more detail as to
how you can add the diamond feature to the connector and which connectors you
can do this to. I am not a seasoned user so the more explicit you can be,
the more helpful it will be. Thanks kindly for your time again.
