Default "Greyed out" View Tab in Tools/Options, how do I enable the tab?

Using MS Word 2003, the "View" tab in Options through the Tools Menu is
greyed out, and not able to be accessed to change any options on the tab. All
other tabs in the Option section are viewable/accessible. How do I enable or
select the View tab? Thanks so much!

Hi =?Utf-8?B?QmlnRG9nR2lybA==?=,

Sometimes, if the Word DATA key in the Registry is damaged, Tools/Options dialog
boxes will behave very oddly. You might first try Help/Detect and Repair. If
that doesn't help, try deleting the key. You'll find detailed instructions for
this on the word.mvps.org website.
