Default "Insert Comment" Default Font

I would like to change the default font for comments from Geneva size
18 to Verdana size 11. I've been taking notes on my professor's
presentations using the comment sticky notes, and I've been able to
edit everything about them except for their font. When I first change
the font, even while selecting 'default for new text objects,' the
changes don't stick for the comments. New text boxes conform, but the
comments pop up in Geneva 18 every single time.

I can, however, change the transparency once using the "format
comment" menu (also making those changes the 'default for new
objects') and those settings stick. How can I set a new default font
for a comment sticky note, and have those changes 'stick'? I've tried
my hardest to figure this one out on my own. If you know how to do
it, I'd really really appreciate it! Thanks in advance!
