Default How do I un-activate MS Visio?

I need to install Visio 2007 on another computer. I didn't uninstall the
program on my laptop before it died and need to install it on my desk top for
the next few months until I get my laptop back.

I get a popup when I try to activate Visio stating the activation limit has
been exceded.

If I Uninstall from the laptop, is there an un-activation code that will be
sent MS so I can activate and use on my other PC?

Or am I missing a step? Thank you

The step you missed was the one to call Microsoft and let them know you were
moving the license (I think they even put the phone number in the message).
