Default Is there a way to set colors for functional bands?

I would like to set colors and patterns for the functional bands in a
cross-functional diagram. Is there a way to do this, other than using a
process box or a text box?

Just click at the right hand (or bottom for vertical charts) so that
the row/column is selected and then do the fill etc.
