Combo Box data error
In a form for entering horse information, I have a created 2 Combo Boxes to
look up a horse's sire and dam from within the database with an after update event to put the Sire's / Dam's horse ID number into the next field, and this works fine during data entry; however, if I leave the form and come back into it, the names of the sires and dams are different (seemingly random), but the sire's / dam's horse id value is correct. Any idea why this happens and what to do to correct it? Thanks, Honey |

Are the two combo boxes bound to fields in a table? Yes, they are bound to the field that contains the Sire's / Dam's name. Also
tried it with them bound to the column that contained the Sire's / Dam's ID number. Honey "scubadiver" wrote: Are the two combo boxes bound to fields in a table?
