Visio 2003 "installs" every time I lauch it in Vista

Vista Ultimate SP1
Office 2007
Visio 2003

Every time I open visio 2003 on my vista PC, I get... preparing to install.
It then seems to go through an install process and then opens.

Problem:

Why does it "install" only on my vista PC. It does not do this on my WinXP
system?

Security update KB955655 fails every time on the vista PC but was applied
the first time on the WinXP machine.


I installed visio after Office 2007.

Are there issues of 2003 on Vista?

It sounds like you may not have all the rights needed to install updates,
or write to the registry. Make sure you are logged on to the computer using
the administrator's account. Then install Visio and any updates you may
need.
