Outlook 2003 in Exchange mode - mailmerge fails
Been using Mailmerge from MS Word 2003 to send newsletter each month.
Database in Access. Outlook in SMTP - Internet mail mode. Recently tentatively changed one machine outlook to full exchange mode since clients want some features only available in full exchange mode. Attempted to do the usual Mailmerge on Tuesday - nothing happens. MS Word just sits there - no errors - no emails generated. Searches reveal the odd comment that Mail merge has changed in Outlook 2003. It seems we finally have the ability to Mail Merge into an Outloook Contacts list. Great. But it would be nice to keep the earlier features too. Is it likely that once you operate Outlook 2003 in Exchange mode that MS Word Mail merge to email no longer works ? Would it help to re-install everything ?
