Default Rules on OL 2000 not automatically working

Hi there,

I am using CyberGenie which is a small PBX for 2 phone lines.

It requires that we use OL 2000 in workgroup mode using as an Internet Email
system.

When a caller leaves a msg CyberGenie transfers it to Outlook's Inbox .

I set up a rule :

1. All incoming Email
2. subject ="Voice Mail"
3. forward it to my Hotmail email address.

It will not do it automatically, If I run the rule manually it works just
fine.

This is OL 2000 with all the updates (SP3 etc..).
No Exchange server.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Tks, Rg

Rules wait for system idle time to run. It is quite difficult to determine if there is system idle time according to Outlook or not. If this is a machine with a slow processor, then it will always be busy, and rules may not ever run.
