poweroint 12 cannot read powerpoint created by powerpoint 11
problem in using prerelease powerpoint with older version of powerpoint that
work well with office 2003 (powerpoint 11) - remark: cannot read.......

It's a beta application, I'll suggest you take it up with the beta group
