Display contact names
I want to remove the (Email) part of the display that
appears beside a contact name when I send them email. I thought it was done via Email Alias under the Details Tab but this does not work (whatever I put in there is not saved). I am using Outlook 2000. Can anyone tell me how this is done? |

Use the 'Display As' under the General tab in Contacts

Outlook 2000 does not have that.
Instead, modify the resources of the contab32.dll file. See: http://www.slipstick.com/exchange/outlhow2.htm#contab -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Anna M." wrote in message ... I don't have "Display As", do have "File As" but tried
that (just entered persons name) and it still puts (Email) in the To bar. Thanks anyway. -----Original Message----- Use the 'Display As' under the General tab in Contacts ANNA "michelle" wrote in message ... You'll need to use the solution I posted.
