endnotes at end of sections

Hi All

i have a 250pg document with 25 sections and i am trying to get the endnotes
to appear at the end of the section ... and they just refuse to!

i'm using word 2002 ... i change all the endnote to footnotes, then i set my
endnotes to "End of Section", click the Convert button and choose footnotes
to endnotes and they all get send to the end of the document.

i've also tried running the following piece of code (found on google) but it
doesn't seem to do anything

With ActiveDocument.Endnotes
.Location = wdEndOfSection
End With

would appreciate any assistance, as i need the endnotes to restart numbering
in each section and to appear at the end of the section.

Make sure that you don't have "Suppress endnotes" checked on the Layout tab
of Page Setup for the sections before the last.
