Default Working access with quickbooks?

We our a interior trim company that is supply labor & material to several
builders.
We want to set up Access for this, we were told that Access, probaly
wouldn't be able to handle this. We also want it to work with Quickbooks. We
want to track budgeted, verses acutal hours, invoices vender and customer.
Does anybody have any suggestions.

"Work with Quickbooks" is pretty vague. What exactly are you trying to do?
Pull data from QB? Push data to it? Link tables?

I amm looking to link information from QB to Access. Such as Jobs , hours
worked at job any other cost related to each job.
