Default Why is the "X" used for delete so close to the "save and close"?

This refers to the individual contact screen form. I found lately that I
miss the save and close and hit the "X" instead. Then later of course, I
can't find the contact. Can I change this form?

Version of Outlook?

You can rearrange the toolbar buttons so delete is father away or removed
completely. If outlook 2007, learn the keyboard shortcuts for save and
close...

Diane,
I have Outlook 2007. Thank you for the information. The solution seems
simple enough. I'm not a computer whiz and found I was deleting contacts.

With outlook 2007, you can't rearrange the toolbar button on individual
forms so you'll need to use keyboard shortcuts.
