old word doc changed to word 2003 format has stuffed up the file
I have moved a document from an earlier version of word to word 2003 which
converts the file over automatically. This stuffs up the margins and headers/footers. the margins are easily fixable although the footers are not being told what to do! print preview shows the footer on the bottom of the page although the printer prints it out higher up the page. For sake of discussion i dont have the original file or the early version of word either. any ideas why the footnotes wont stay down the bottom where it belongs?? any help greatly appreciated. |

It's not the change of Word version that does this, but changes to
normal.dot and changes to page set up as a result of the new printer settings. "David_WigGy" wrote in message ... If the document is being printed in the upper left corner of the page (extra
right and bottom margins), it could be because it contains tracked changes or comments, and Word is allowing margin space for the default "balloons." -- Suzanne S.
