Alphabetical Selection
I've created lists for dropdown menus for validation in certain cells for
users to pick from the list. I want the user to be able to tab into that cell, hit the down arrow on the keyboard to drop the menu, AND/OR then hit the first letter of the selection they want on the keyboard, and hit enter to make their selection. It would be even nicer if they didn't need to drop the menu down but instead hit the first letter (or even few letters) to find the selection they want...you see this on websites a lot and I'm hoping Excel has a way to do it. Hope that makes sense. Is that possible? If so, how? Thanks in advance for your help! Chris |

See one reply to the same post in another news group.
Multu-posting is not a good idea. Only serves to fragment responses, creating more than one thread and possibly wasting a lot of time and effort. All the regulars monitor all the Excel news groups.
