We are having a similar problem and are running TWO versions of OL (2002 & 2003) using MS Exchange. Can I save the Master Category List to the Server for everyone to access?

The master category list is private and individual to each user. There is
nothing to "save" to a server. There are, however, third-party tools that offer centralized category management. Yes, I have looked at that page, but it shows minimum direction and also separates the versions. I quess I need the "...for Dummies" directions. I have never worked in the Registry.

Is there a way that does not involve using the registry? Someone explained a way to me before but it was not sucessful.

Since the master category list lives in the registry, you must either edit
the registry or use a tool that edits the registry. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Susan" wrote in message ... Hi Susan
Have a look at www.olcat.com. OLCat has been designed to make sharing categories easier. As Sue says, whatever you do with categories involves working with the registry, but OLCat makes it more straightforward. Regards Jacques Francis "Susan" wrote in message ...
