Default updated date and time for local cable t.v. station presentation?

My very small town cable t.v. company has asked for help with this. They are
showing a looping powerpoint presentation on their cable channel and they
want to include a slide with the CURRENT date and time. They do the Insert
Date & Time and check update automatically. But when the ppt. presentation
continues looping, the date and time never updates. Is there any way to make
it show the actual updated date and time as it continues looping?
