"Pasting" in a distribution list
I have read some posts on how to create and send distribution lists. I
created one and emailed it to my associates so we can share it. The problem is after its sent. I opened their email for them copied and pasted the attachment to the desktop. Then opened contacts and tried to drop it in and got nothing. What am I doing wrong or is this not the right way to do it? Outlook 2007 |

What if you simply drag the attachment from the mail message to the Contacts folder? -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

"Pasting" in a distribution list
Unless you forward it as a outlook item, the recipient will need to copy the
addresses and paste into a DL form. Steps are listed in the second numbered list at http://www.slipstick.com/Tutorials/create/dl.asp. If everyone is using Outlook, you should forward as an outlook item, either using the send as command or insert it into a new message. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
