Default Why will one of my contact lists not pull up names for mail merge.

I have 4 contact lists in Outlook 2003. Three pull up fine doing a mail
merge. One pulls up blank spaces. Why can't I get that one to do a mail
merge?

Pulls up blank spaces where?

In case you didn't know, you'll get best results if you start the merge from
Outlook.

In the screen that comes up listing names from which you can check or
un-check names which selects which are merged into a letter - like: Dear
name,.
I don't know how to start a letter merge from Outlook. But thanks.

To start the merge from Outlook, select the names you want to merge, then
choose Tools | Mail Merge, answer the questions on the dialog and take it
from there. I think you'll find it a much more reliable procedure.

Thanks Sue, that helped a lot. I still need to work out some kinks, but IT
WORKS!
