Font question
I have Office 2003, including Publisher. I proofread our organization's
newsletter when the editor e-mails it to me. Once before I got a message in Publisher that I didn't have a font she used, so I found it online and downloaded it. Now I am getting a similar message, but cannot find such a font. The Publisher message says: The font information below shows what fonts are embedded in your publication or are unavailable. Font Name - 20th Century Font Font Type - Unknown Status - Unavailable It suggests a Font substitution, but that won't help on her end, as we need to be "on the same page". Thanks for any help/suggestions. |

Font question
Charles,
Well, I THOUGHT I downloaded the font (4 versions of it) from the first URL site you sent, but when I again opened the newsletter I got the same message. "Charles W Davis" wrote in message ... Font question
Joy,
When she has the file open in Publisher she can ID the font. Once she knows the name of the font she can close Publisher and go to C:\Windows\Fonts find the font and attach it to an email to you. Once you get the font file you then place it in C:\Windows\Fonts folder. The file in the Windows\Font file may have a slightly different name but double clicking on it will reveal its name as seen in Publisher. -- Don Vancouver, USA "Joy" wrote in message ... Don, I don't know if she'd know how to do that, nor do I know how to tell her to do it. "Don Schmidt" Don red_1987 wrote in message ... Font question
Don,
Sorry to seem dumb, but how does she ID the font? She said she didn't consciously choose it to use in the newsletter, and doesn't know where in the newsletter it's in use.
