How can I add music? PLEASE HELP ME!

Can anybody help me? I add music on PowerPoint and then, it doesn't
work. The persons to who I send the video clip can't hear the music even if
I've followed the advices from PowerPoint site. When I look at the
information about the song it tells me Total playing time: 00.00.
PLEASE HELP ME HERE!

Put the video clip into the same folder as the presentation before you
insert it into PowerPoint, and don't forget to send it along with the
presentation as it is not embedded, only linked.
