Default Not receiving attachments

Hi there

I have a problem when I sent an e-mail with an attachment to another pc with
outlook express the e-mail goes through but there is no sign of the
attachment. The attachment is a word doc.

Can someone please help.

Default Not receiving attachments

Are you using Rich Text as your default format? Switch to Plain Text or HTML
and see if that makes a difference.

Default Not receiving attachments

Are you sure this isn't an OE issue with attachment blocking? Zip the doc
file and see if it is received.

Hi and thank you for your response.

Here is what I figured out so far. The pc I'm sending the e-mails from has
outlook 2007 on it. The pc I'm sending it to has outlook express. I've sent
an e-mail with attachment of a normal notepad document to the outlook express
pc but no attachment. I've then send it to my pc that has outlook 2003 and
outlook express on it. Both the e-mails had an attachment. Is there perhaps a
setting on the other machine that has outlook express on it that I must
change.

As Ms. Orland says, make sure you're using some format OTHER THAN Rich Text.
Attachments on Rich Text messages don't show up in Outlook Express.
