Importing Address Book into Outlook Contacts: Eudora and Time and
How would I do this?
I use Eudora for email. Since Eudora is a dead product, I'm looking to change Email programs. Since Outlook is a standard in the Email / Calendar / Contact world, I decided to try it out. Eudora keeps my address book of email addresses. Time and Chaos (a contact / address book program) keeps my calendar, telephone numbers, and snail mail addresses. When I imported my data from Eudora, it placed my email address book into the contact program. Now, if I import Time and Chaos's data (which contains no email info), it's going to create a mess of entries, some without email data and others without address data. There will be duplicates here because I have address and telephone numbers for most of my email contacts. These partial records are all going to show up when I attempt to send an email, or do something that requires snail mail addresses. How do you cope with this other than not using Outlook for my Time and Chaos data? Thanks. Rog When I |
