Default Table Relationship

I have downloaded templates and created a contact database, then i imported
tables and objects from other templates without their contacts tables because
i dint need them. now i have created a relation between the the tables such
as Tasks table, and Assets table to the Contacts table and it seems to be ok.
However i just opened the the database and realise that am unable to expand
the plus signs in the contacts table. anytime i click it a dialog pops up
showing the tables and on its top pane it says insert a spreadsheet which i
dont know why that comes up. any help

if you can see the plus signs then I'm guessing you don't have a valid
relationship or the tables are empty.
